Choose the right Webflow route
Webflow supports a custom action that sends the form directly to an external endpoint. Webflow says this replaces its built-in storage and email notifications for that form. If you must keep Webflow's own submission handling too, use a compatible app or a separately configured Webflow webhook instead of switching to a custom action.
Set up the connection
- Create an external form in YetiForm and copy its submission endpoint.
- In Webflow, select the form, open Settings, choose Send to → Custom action, enter the endpoint, and set the method to POST. Remove Webflow and Email destinations if the interface requires it.
- In the YetiForm form's Actions, choose Log to Google Sheet. Share the specific Sheet with the address shown in the connection flow, then verify that Sheet and connect its URL.
- Publish the Webflow site and submit a test response. Check both the YetiForm dashboard and the Sheet row.
Avoid the common mistakes
Give each input a stable name so the received answers have useful labels. Make a test submission from the published site, not just the Designer. Check the Sheet's sharing settings if verification fails. If you also want confirmation emails, configure Send Email in YetiForm because the Webflow custom action no longer sends Webflow's default notifications.
What goes into the Sheet
Treat the Sheet as a working copy for collaboration and the submissions dashboard as the place to inspect individual responses and action history. The external-form endpoint handles named text fields; it does not accept uploaded files. For file uploads, build and embed a YetiForm form instead.
