Start with what Framer provides
If Framer's native email or Google Sheets destination covers your needs, use it. There is no reason to rebuild a working form merely to change its backend. When you need a dedicated submissions dashboard, custom confirmation emails, and downstream actions in one place, connect the existing form to a service designed for that workflow.
Two ways to add YetiForm
- For a form designed in Framer, create an external form in YetiForm. Have the existing form POST named fields to its submission endpoint, then test the published page. This route is for text answers and may require a custom Framer component or submit handler.
- For a form you want to build in YetiForm, create the fields and steps there. Copy the embed snippet and place it in a Framer embed area. Preview desktop and mobile spacing after publishing.
- Submit a real test response and check the dashboard before removing any previous submission destination.
Know the difference between endpoints
Framer's native webhook destination sends JSON and expects a direct 2xx response. YetiForm's external-form submission endpoint accepts a JSON object or standard form data, but a custom Framer integration should still be tested end to end. A YetiForm Webhook action does the opposite: it sends a submission already stored in YetiForm onward to your own HTTPS receiver.
What to verify
Check required fields, field names, the success state, and what happens if the receiving endpoint fails. Framer also has native spam protection and rate limiting, so do not switch providers on the assumption those features are absent.
